Agnus Dei #8 (21 Haziran 2009)

Agnus Dei'nin yedinci, sekizinci ve dokuzuncu programlarında Georg Friedrich Hendel'in en önemli dinsel eseri olan Mesih Oratoryosu'nun tamamını üç programa yayılmış bir şekilde dinliyoruz. 2009 yılında Hendel'in ölümünün 250. yılı nedeniyle Hendel'in eserlerinden oluşan etkinlikler yapılırken Mesih oratoryosu da en çok seslendirilen eserlerden biri. Programın sekzinci bölümünde Mesih Oratoryosu'nun Nasıralı İsa'nınçarmıha gerilmesini anlatan ikinci bölümünü (yani pasyon bölümünü) Trevor Pinnock yönetimindeki The English Concert orkestra ve korosunun dönem çalgılarıyla kaydettiği yorumundan dinliyoruz.
